I visited One & Only Le Saint Géran in January 2023 and I was blown away by this resort. Surounded by water on three sides of the property, every single room has a water view, either of the beach, the ocean or the lagoon.

Its location is breathtaking, and that's only the start of it. Located between a beautiful sheltered lagoon and the warm Indian Ocean, the One and one St Geran has almost 2km of prestine whine beaches.

As I walked through the grand reception, I instantly felt the legacy of this hotel, perfectly marrying tradition and modernity. Everything has been designed for guests to feel relaxed, at ease while enjoying high-end luxury, from the all the small pavillions separated by water in the main restaurant, giving it an intimate feel to the airy lunch spot under the banyan tree with incredible views of the indian ocean. 

I loved that the One & Only Le Saint Géran doesn't take itself too seriously, there is nothing pompous about this resort and children are more than welcome. True island luxury!

I was very impressed by the the activities centre, like nothing I had every seen before, it is very cleverly thought out with state-of-the-art fitness facilities, including a cross training room, a yoga studio, reformer pilates machines, a tennis club regularly welcoming celebrity coaches like Martina Hingis, and the inspiring kids clubs you will struggled to take your children away from. 

Room tips

The rooms are very spacious, and every room has a water view. I particularly loved the Lagoon View Suites, where the view felt very tropical and serene. There are many options for interconnecting rooms and suites, depending on the size of your family. They can guarantee interconnecting room when booking, which is quite rare for hotels!
